Hi there!

My name is Marco, and I am a passionate Level and Gameplay Designer from Italy. Video games have been my biggest passion since childhood, something that really allows me to express myself and get inspired. Raised on games such as Super Mario and Kingdom Hearts, I grew up with great affection for action and platform genres.

I came to understand that my true vocation lay in creating video games, desiring to inspire in others the same thrill that these games had consistently brought me. In 2022, I enrolled in the Project Management & Production course at Digital Bros Game Academy, where I acquired essential skills in project management, team communication, and resource management adapted for game development.

 

In 2023, I enrolled a 2-year Game Design course on which I had my first team collaborations. There, I learned core principles in Game Design, including familiarizing myself with game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine 5. This gave me the opportunity to implement what I had studied, such as prototyping and creating intriguing mechanics.

Through this journey, I discovered my passion for Level and Gameplay Design where I can create engaging player experiences with well-designed environments and mechanics. This process helped me develop a strong problem-solving mindset, balancing creativity with technical constraints to create immersive designs.

I am a creative and accurate person with an insatiable desire to learn and improve as a designer.

I currently live in Milan, but I am willing to relocate all over Europe.
